Schedule a class - We conduct private one-on-one and group classes seven days a week. For more information or to schedule a class, contact us at (702) 406-2154 or email us at info@dayinthedesert.com About the Course and Curriculum Dirt bike riding is a fantastic way to enjoy and explore the beautiful Nevada deserts and share quality time with friends and family. Dirt bike riding provides children ages 6 and up with a fun and rewarding challenge and teaches children valuable risk management skills. Dirt bike riding is also an ideal sport for adults to start their journey into the wonderful world of motorcycling (along with the Motorcycle Safety Foundation's Basic RiderCourse). Day in the Desert is a certified provider of DirtBike School, part of a nationwide program created by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) to provide hands-on rider training with emphasis on safety and skill development. During the course, students learn basic techniques for riding off-highway motorcycles and discuss risk management and environmental awareness between riding exercises. Lessons are presented at a controlled off-highway site designed for the course and lessons are taught by certified MSF DirtBike School Coaches. DirtBike School is for anyone ages six and up, for individuals, families, birthday parties and corporate events. What do I learn in the course? Your entire class time is spent on the course with plenty of hands-on instruction. Total class time can vary between four to six hours depending on class size. Motorcycles and riding gear are provided. Our no-pressure, controlled environment is an ideal setting for many adult riders who want to get started in motorcycling and in certain cases, some find that the DirtBike School is an excellent introduction to taking the MSF street motorcycle Basic RiderCourse.
