Introduction to Motorcycling -
This presentation and discussion covers the best ways to begin the exciting journey into the world of dirt bike, ATV and street bike riding. We cover the importance of formal training for beginners as well as experienced riders and discuss life-long learning opportunities. We also cover what the courses teach and expose participants to riding strategies, risk management and responsible riding.
MSF's Cars, Motorcycles and a Common Road - This presentation is ideal for Driver Education programs and for corporations and businesses that want to provide additional driver training. It provides information and encourages discussion on the topic of sharing the road with other vehicles.
MSF's Guide to Group Riding - This presentation is ideal for clubs, dealerships and individuals that want to organize group rides. Group riding is a fantastic way to spend time with and meet new friends. There is a 15 minute video with discussion about riding techniques, ride preparation and organization.
MSF's Riding Straight Module- Ideal for Driver's Education Programs, Businesses and clubs. This 25 minute presentation includes a video, Fatal Vision goggle demonstration and discussion regarding strategies to keep drinking and riding separate.
MSF's Seasoned Rider -Ideal for riding clubs. MSF's latest fun and activity-based module covers the affects of aging and motorcycling.
Media

About Day in the Desert
Day in the Desert is independently owned and operated in Las Vegas, Nevada. It's main mission is to promote safe and responsible motorcycling and life-long learning. Day in the Desert's founder and DirtBike School Coach, Don Ankrom, has been riding motorcycles for over 15 years and began working as an educator in the motorcycle industry in 2000 as Project Manager for The Guggenheim Museum's The Art of the Motorcycle exhibition and later joined the staff of the Motorcycle Safety Foundation as Administrator of Training Systems. In addition, Don was Project Manager for the 2001 Rockefeller Center Motorcycle Show in New York and Executive Producer of the 2004 Rockefeller Center Motorcycle Show. Don has a Bachelor's Degree in History and is currently pursuing a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership at the University of Las Vegas, Nevada.
